Thank you for popping by, we hope you love browsing our much loved patterns and kits. Lots of love Kerrie and Craig
How exciting, our third Sew Along Sunday and I thought since we are all doing a lot more sewing just now it would be great to make a super useful wrist pin cushion. It’s great to see so many photos posted to the group of your beautiful makes. Keep them coming as I love to see what you make using the tutorials and in particular have a look at your beautiful fabrics – did I mention I have a slight fabric obsession!
This tutorial is from my ‘Sewn With Scraps’ series – Issue 2- Sew Useful’ pattern booklet. During the pin cushion tutorial, the techniques we are going to concentrate on is how to achieve those perfect points for sewing a pinwheel block.
All you need to do now is download the template. Don’t worry if you don’t have a printer, simply cut the fabric to the measurements below. Join me in the group ‘Sew Along Sunday with Living In Loveliness’, click ‘attending’ on the event in the group and wait for me to go live. I will see you live on Sunday 26th at 8pm.
To take part in the ‘sew along’ you will need:
Three pieces of fabric 5” x 5”
1 piece of elastic approximately 10” thsi will be trimmed to size.
2 large button approximately the size of a 2 pence
A small amount of toy stuffing
Click here to download the template and join the group here to be amongst the first to see my tutorial.
Looking forward to sewing with you!
Lots of love
