Join me for a ‘Christmas Inspired’ retreat at the picturesque Hurds Hill Regency Country House, nestled in 5 acres of serene grounds with panoramic views of the Somerset Levels. Immerse yourself in the tranquil ambiance of Hurds Hill, boasting a luminous sewing room and exclusive access to the entire house and gardens. Indulge in one of our beloved sewing patterns during the retreat. Two months before the event you’ll receive a curated selection of Christmas-inspired patterns to choose from for sewing during the event. You’re welcome to select as many patterns as you like from the collection. The fee includes two patterns, and any additional patterns can be purchased at a 50% discount. This allows you the flexibility to explore multiple projects and immerse yourself in the festive spirit of creativity. Throughout the retreat, we’ll immerse ourselves in a variety of sewing activities, including cutting, piecing, and stitching, all while honing our sewing skills. Amidst the creative pursuits, expect an abundance of fun and laughter as we come together to enjoy the sewing journey in a joyful and supportive atmosphere.. Sewing and learning will unfold at a leisurely pace, ensuring a truly relaxing experience.
Indulge in delightful meals served in the grand dining room, featuring country house dining with no set menu. Dinner comprises a three-course meal accompanied by tea, coffee, and chocolates, announced as we unwind with evening drinks. Lunch typically consists of a sharing platter buffet with hot dishes, salads, desserts, and fresh fruit, complemented by apple juice, orange juice, and water. Dietary requirements and preferences are carefully noted and catered to, with meals prepared using locally sourced seasonal produce.

Itinerary
Friday
3:00 pm – Arrival & Welcome – enjoy tea, coffee and cake as you settle into your cosy bedrooms.
3:45 – 5:45pm – Warm Welcome in the Classroom and start our sewing projects.
6:00 pm – Dinner in the Grand Dinning Room
After dinner, we’ll relax in the Yellow Drawing Room with a slow stitching project. With a thank you kit from Kerrie to unwind a little more and get to know each other.
10pm – Time for bed
Saturday
8:30 – 9:30am – Breakfast in the Grand Dining Room
9:30am – Sewing in the Classroom
1:00 – 1:45pm – Lunch
1:45pm – 2:15pm – have a stroll around the gardens or explore the house.
2:15pm – 5:45pm – Meet back in the classroom for more sewing
6:00 pm – Dinner in the Grand Dinning Room (bring your 3 fat quarters)
After dinner, we’ll play a fun game in the main room and then head to the Yellow Drawing Room with a second lovely kit from Kerrie to unwind, sew and enjoy each other’s company on our final evening together.
10pm – Time for bed

Choose Your Patterns
Two months before the event, you’ll receive an email with a list of patterns to choose from, and a printed copy will be provided at the retreat. If you’d like to prepare your fabric in advance, just email Kerrie for a PDF cutting guide.
Booking Information
- Cost: £399 (includes accommodation, meals, one pattern and both slow stitching kits)
- Payment: You can pay in full or in three instalments by selecting ‘Pay Later’ at checkout. If you prefer to pay a £49 deposit and arrange a tailored payment plan, just email Kerrie to discuss the options.
- Materials: Not included, but you’ll receive a material list tailored to your chosen projects after selecting your patterns.

Terms and Conditions: Please ensure availability for all selected workshop dates, as bookings are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Living In Loveliness reserves the right to reschedule or cancel classes, with affected participants offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Snow & Severe Weather Policy: In the event of adverse weather conditions, our priority is everyone’s safety. We’ll provide ample notice in case of class cancellation. If no communication is received, classes are running as scheduled. Should a class be canceled, alternative dates will be offered. If opting not to attend the rescheduled session and the workshop proceeds as planned, bookings will not be transferred or refunded.
